A Playful Moment Became Painfully Tragic As Father Fell On His Son, Resulting To His Death

A boy from China had died in a supermarket after his own father accidentally fell on him.



The footage of the tragic scene was then aired by the Guangzhou Broadcasting Network.



In the video, an old man was seen roaming around the supermarket with his back facing his son. He was walking while holding both of his child’s hands when he accidentally lost his balance and fell backward, landing right on top of his son’s face.



The video obviously showed that the two were sharing a playful moment as the son pulled backward to swing his father’s arms, but ends up pulling all of his weight towards him.



The surveillance video then showed a sales assistant trying to help the father up before carrying his son who no longer responds after he landed on top of him.



According to a report made by the Guangdong Television, the boy was rushed to the hospital but was later on pronounced dead.



A pediatrician in Guangzhou said: “In the video, the man’s entire weight was on the upper body of the child, including the boy’s head and neck. The child might have suffered a cervical fracture.”



It was also stated that people who never received any medical training should avoid moving anyone with suspected cervical injuries.

The Chinese report didn’t disclose the age of the child or where the whole incident occurred.

The netizens were then left with a broken heart after watching the surveillance video.

This should now serve as a lesson to each and every parent out there to avoid doing such thing or you might end up losing your precious child.



This incident is definitely the most heartbreaking since his child died in his own hands and people are even blaming him for what had happened.
