Judy Ann to Regine Velasquez: ‘Sarap Mong Sabunutan…’



Actress Judy Ann Santos has always been a fan of Asia’s songbird, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid. To support her talented “idol,” she attended Regine’s 30th anniversary concert titled “R3.0,” held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay last October 21.



The ‘Bet on Your Baby’ host was so into the concert that when the songbird sang “Bluer than Blue” by Michael Johnson, Judy Ann sang along. Juday had her eyes closed as she moved to the rhythm of the music with matching hand gestures.





The actress was so proud of Regine that she even posted a video of her during that segment. She added a caption saying, “Muntik na e.. muntik na kong nang agaw ng micropono kanina e! Iba ka @reginevalcasid ! Sarap mong sabunutan sa husay e! Congratulations songbird! Maraming mahuhusay.. pero.. nag iisa ka. ???? #R3.0”





Her followers were entertained by her fangirling that they also commented on her post.

Regine’s concert was such a success that a part two is being planned since the tickets sold out immediately after selling started.



“Eh di eto na nga sa kadahilanang hindi maipaliwanag may 2nd night na. August 30 daw and lavas ng chikets so mga bakla gora na sa SM!!!!!!! ???? #toGODbetheglory,” Regine posted on her Instagram account.



The concert was directed by Paolo Valenciano while Raul Mitra was the show’s musical director.
