Rains in Luzon due to low pressure area: PAGASA

MANILA - A low pressure area or brewing storm will bring rains over large swaths of the Luzon on Thursday, said state weather bureau PAGASA.

Light to moderate and occasionally heavy rains were experienced in Aurora province and the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera and Cagayan Valley, PAGASA meteorologist Robb Guile told DZMM.



Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms.
The low pressure area, was last spotted over Natonin, Mountain Province at 3 a.m. it is unlikely to intensify into a tropical cyclone, Guile said.

Up to 2 storms are expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility this month, PAGASA earlier announced.
