WATCH: Mga bata sa Marawi naging emosyonal sa pag-alis ng mga sundalo sa pagtatapos ng bakbakan

After the news broke that the ISIS-inspired terrorist group Maute is creating violence and threat in Marawi City in May 2017, the government immediately deployed hundreds of soldiers to defend the city and protect the people from harm.

The Marawi siege has been bloody for both military and terrorist camps, some civilians were also affected by the said battle.

5-months after, the troops were able to kill 2 of the leaders of the terrorist group namely Isnilon Hapilon and Omar Maute, and just last Monday the military group have finally concluded the bloody war after fully neutralizing the enemies.

The whole nation rejoiced after this successful event, and soldiers are jumping for joy as they are now coming home alive to their families.

However, not everyone is happy with the ongoing pullout of soldiers in Marawi City.

A video uploaded by Facebook page Apo Datuputi is now going rounds on social media as children at Marawi City could not help but get emotional as soldiers hop inside the bus to be deployed home.

Obviously, the children grew closer to the soldiers who are protecting them during the past 5 months.

In the video, a group of kids was seen hysterically crying as they witness buses filled with soldiers getting ready to depart. Some of them are even begging the soldiers to stay in Marawi.

Some adults tried to console the crying children, but they could not be tamed.

Meanwhile, some of the netizen were also touched by the said video saying that the soldiers did not just protect the people of Marawi but have also touched their lives. Below are some of their comments:
